Teachers lead by example. Their leadership gives students the courage and foundation to challenge themselves, knowing that their teachers stand behind them. In my acting classes, I strive to set the same example. I make sure my students are challenged and supported. I hold myself accountable for my students' growth as actors and remind them that if they are not progressing, something is getting in their way—not the material, not the other students.
As they learn the technical and artistic skills needed to excel, I provide the necessary creative support so they can surpass their own expectations. Empowering my students, encouraging risk-taking, and offering constructive critiques keeps them on track, even in their most challenging moments. I believe that with confidence, consistency, and compassion, my students can achieve their ambitious goals.
At Road to Performance Actor Workshops, I am close with my students, and encouragement and praise go hand in hand. I remind my students that they were once beginners who had to learn the basics and understand them before they could advance and excel. I give my students the basic theory and practice in class, so they have the necessary foundation to tackle any role in their budding careers.
Quality and commitment come from the belief that all students can reach their full potential, and I do not leave anything out of the reach of my students. Through personalized attention, private sessions, small classes, and experiential and interactive learning, my students are given the tools and knowledge they need to create magnificent and memorable performances.
I invite my students to join me on that journey of exploration, learning, and growth as we explore the creative depths of the human experience and bring them to life on stage! As your coach, mentor, and guide, I will support you and encourage you every step of the way.
